Police reforms have become a hot-button issue of the 2020 presidential election, especially after the death of Black man George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis. Calls for defunding the police gained momentum across the U.S. since then, but there has been a lot of disagreement on what that means and how it should happen.
